Album Notes & Community Reviews

Shifting away from the primitive black metal of their early years, the legendary Czech act embraced a more epic, doom-laden sound for their second full-length. 'The Temple in the Underworld' is anchored by Big Boss's theatrical, operatic baritone and slow, crushing heavy metal riffs steeped in dark mythology. The record is a cornerstone of the Eastern European underground, celebrated for its unique, ritualistic atmosphere and highly idiosyncratic vision.
