Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released through the influential Big Dada label, Rodney Smith's debut album effectively established a highly distinct, fiercely independent identity for British hip-hop. The record brilliantly merges sluggish, bass-heavy trip-hop production with elements of Jamaican dancehall, framing his deep, uniquely accented baritone and observational, socially conscious lyricism.
