Album Notes & Community Reviews

This collaboration pairs veteran rapper Rosco P. Coldchain with prolific producer Nicholas Craven. The album is a showcase of classicist boom bap, with Craven's signature soul-sampling, loop-based production providing a gritty backdrop for Coldchain's hard-hitting gangsta rap narratives. 'Play With Something Safe' is a potent display of traditional hip-hop craftsmanship from two respected figures in the underground.
