Pyramid

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by former Boredoms guitarist Seiichi Yamamoto, the Japanese instrumental supergroup delivers an incredibly dense, ecstatically rhythmic sophomore album. 'Pyramid' features a relentless dual-drummer attack that propels extended, highly hypnotic, krautrock-inspired grooves overlaid with soaring electric violin. The album's incredibly energetic, deeply psychedelic, and technically flawless performances firmly established their reputation as unparalleled live improvisers.
