Album Notes & Community Reviews

Vibraphone maestro Roy Ayers continues his effortless mastery of dancefloor jazz-funk with Ubiquity's 'Lifeline'. The recording blends sophisticated harmonic structures with infectious disco rhythms, lush string sections, and Ayers' signature breezy vocal refrains. It remains an essential artifact of late-70s urban black nightlife and sophisticated crossover soul.
