Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the final studio album before their initial, prolonged disbandment, the volatile duo of Neil Hagerty and Jennifer Herrema goes out on a remarkably accessible note. 'Pound for Pound' largely eschews their earlier avant-garde dissonance in favor of swaggering, 1970s-inspired hard rock and incredibly tight, bluesy guitar riffing. The energetic, heavily rhythmic record perfectly encapsulates their distinctly trashy, unkempt approach to classic rock and roll.
