Uniting two of the most acclaimed and technically gifted alto saxophonists of their generation, this live quintet recording is a dizzying display of post-bop virtuosity. The album features blistering, intertwined saxophone duels navigating complex, asymmetrical rhythms, firmly establishing both artists at the forefront of modern avant-garde jazz.
