Blood Year

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Chicago instrumental post-metal trio strips away the synthesizer embellishments of their recent work, returning to a purely heavy, guitar-driven sound. Recorded by Kurt Ballou, the album relies on massive, tectonic sludge metal riffs and relentless rhythmic drive. It operates as a dark, incredibly muscular exercise in building profound tension without uttering a single word.
