Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing his meticulous excavation of marginalized American music, the slide-guitar maestro dives into obscure blues, folk, and ragtime numbers on his third solo effort. The exquisitely sparse, acoustic arrangements breathe vital new life into historical compositions, cementing his reputation as a masterful archivist and a supremely gifted instrumentalist. It is a stunning, warm tribute to the foundational roots of American song.
