Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded with the core members of the West Coast Get Down collective, the Los Angeles trombonist delivers an energetic tribute to the foundational hard bop era. The album's sessions overlap significantly with the recording period for Kamasi Washington's 'The Epic', featuring similarly expansive, spirited ensemble improvisations.
