Album Notes & Community Reviews
Channeling the pastoral, improvisational spirit of 1970s British folk legends like John Martyn and Nick Drake, the Chicago guitarist delivers a mesmerizing collection of sprawling acoustic jams. Backed by a seasoned band of local jazz and experimental musicians, the tracks frequently erupt into swirling, psychedelic instrumental sections. The intricate fingerpicking and rich, textured arrangements garnered immense critical acclaim.
