Care for Me

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Created in the devastating aftermath of the murder of his cousin and close collaborator John Walt, the Chicago MC's sophomore album is a profound exploration of grief and survivor's guilt. Featuring incredibly warm, mournful jazz-rap production, the record highlights his highly dynamic flow and incredibly sharp, conversational storytelling. It earned massive universal acclaim as one of the most emotionally devastating and beautifully crafted hip-hop releases of the year.
