Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by the fiery Nuyorican conguero Sab煤 Martinez, this explosive studio session captures the raw, improvisational energy of an Afro-Cuban jam session. The relentless, highly syncopated percussion tracks eschew traditional song structures, prioritizing deeply grooving cross-rhythms that fueled New York's competitive Latin dance scene.
