Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during his extensive expatriate period in Europe, 'Sentiments' captures the baritone saxophonist in a remarkably fluent, highly inventive post-bop setting. The session relies on sophisticated modal frameworks and complex, swinging rhythmic interactions, highlighting his distinctively warm and technically brilliant tone. It stands as a masterful, criminally overlooked entry in the American jazz diaspora canon.
