Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating heavily within the cosmic, jazz-infused electronic space championed by her label Brainfeeder, Salami Rose Joe Louis drops a highly surreal conceptual album. 'Akousmatikous' blends wonky, off-kilter beat programming with incredibly soft, dreamlike vocal melodies and vintage synthesizer arrangements. The record acts as a bizarre, deeply hypnotic sci-fi journey navigating themes of environmental collapse and multidimensional travel.
