Midnite

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Midnite' solidified Salmo as one of the most abrasive and commercially successful voices in Italian rap, heavily bridging the gap between hip-hop and aggressive electronic dance music. The album features heavily distorted, brostep-influenced production that perfectly complements his furious, fast-paced rhyming and unapologetically dark, violent lyricism. It was a massive commercial breakthrough that defined the sound of 2010s Italian mainstream rap.
