Album Notes & Community Reviews

Shattering gender barriers in the male-dominated 1980s hip-hop scene, the Queens-based trio delivered an incredibly influential, multi-platinum debut. Featuring massive crossover hits like 'Push It', the album's minimalist, heavy-hitting drum machine production serves as the perfect vehicle for their playfully assertive, sexually empowered lyricism.
