Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second album from Saltland, the project of cellist Rebecca Foon (Thee Silver Mt. Zion, Esmerine), is a dark and beautiful meditation on environmental collapse. 'A Common Truth' blends her stunning, mournful cello work with vast, atmospheric post-rock soundscapes and her ethereal vocals. It's a somber, cinematic, and politically charged record that is both deeply melancholic and profoundly moving.
