Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fulfilling a contractual obligation to his previous label after joining Van Halen, the 'Red Rocker' delivered a remarkably slick, commercially potent solo effort. 'I Never Said Goodbye' features Eddie Van Halen playing bass guitar, resulting in a polished, arena-ready hard rock sound. The album yielded significant radio hits and served as a highly successful stopgap during his tenure with his main band.
