Album Notes & Community Reviews

Sammy Hagar's eighth solo album captured his hard-partying, unapologetically American arena rock persona perfectly just prior to his departure to front Van Halen. Fueled by the massive MTV success of the anthemic rocker "I Can't Drive 55", 'VOA' stands as one of the definitive mainstream hard rock releases of the mid-1980s.
