Album Notes & Community Reviews

Taking its name from his grandfather, 'Lahai' marks a jubilant return focusing on themes of fatherhood, familial connection, and spiritual flight. The arrangements feature complex, syncopated rhythms heavily indebted to West African music and UK bass culture, over which his delicate vocal performances soar. It serves as an optimistic, intricately produced reflection on the cyclical nature of life.
