Album Notes & Community Reviews

After years of high-profile vocal features for artists like Drake and Solange, Sampha Sisay delivers an incredibly intimate, piano-driven solo debut. The record is a profound meditation on grief and vulnerability, written largely in the wake of his mother's death from cancer. Its brilliant fusion of fragile acoustic songwriting and subtle electronic production earned him the prestigious Mercury Prize.
