Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally engineered by Klaus Schulze, 'Golem' is a deeply obscure and highly experimental piece of German avant-folk and krautrock. Sand constructs an incredibly eerie, ritualistic atmosphere through the use of droning synthesizers, primitive percussion, and haunting acoustic guitars, making it a pivotal touchstone for later dark ambient and neofolk artists.
