Album Notes & Community Reviews
On her third solo record, the legendary Fairport Convention vocalist eschewed traditional electric folk-rock in favor of deeply sentimental, jazz-inflected chamber pop. The lush string arrangements and inclusion of jazz standards highlight her immense interpretive skills and yearning, deeply melancholic songwriting.
