O camiño das mans valeiras

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating primarily out of Germany, the Spanish expatriate collective crafts a deeply melancholic, exclusively acoustic ode to the mythology and landscapes of Galicia. 'O camiño das mans valeiras' heavily features traditional hurdy-gurdies, flutes, and delicate classical guitar picking, accompanied by hushed, sorrowful vocal performances. The record is a profoundly pastoral, atmospheric, and heartbreakingly beautiful exploration of European dark folk.
