Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing the group's pivot towards commercial radio viability, 'Shango' prominently features the hit single 'Hold On', showcasing a polished integration of their signature Latin percussion with arena-ready pop-rock. The production heavily incorporates synthesizers, aligning the legendary jam band with the dominant AOR sounds of the decade. While polarizing for early purists, it successfully maintained their presence on mainstream charts.
