Album Notes & Community Reviews
The acclaimed Arcade Fire violinist delivers an incredibly sweeping, deeply contemplative solo instrumental album. Originally conceived to accompany a modern dance piece, 'Detritus' features heavily layered, cyclical violin improvisations grounded by subtle analog synthesizers and occasional wordless vocals. The project operates as an emotionally devastating, highly hypnotic meditation on grief and fluid motion.
