Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as her third studio album, 'Blood on the Silver Screen' represents an elegant, cinematic, and highly theatrical statement from Los Angeles-based songwriter and producer Sasami. Co-produced alongside Rostam Batmanglij, the record moves away from her previous heavy metal and industrial style to embrace lush, retro-tinged indie pop and dream pop orchestrations. Lyrically, the tracks deliver an honest, deeply introspective, and romantic diary of passion, shared memory, and creative expansion.
