Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released on the prestigious Tzadik label, Japanese pianist Satoko Fujii presents a remarkably dynamic, entirely acoustic trio recording. 'Kitsune-Bi' effortlessly shifts between highly structured, remarkably playful melodies and fiercely intense, entirely unscripted periods of highly dissonant free jazz improvisation.
