Album Notes & Community Reviews
On their twelfth studio album '10', the enigmatic collective Sault pivots to a more accessible and up-tempo sound, blending supple funk, disco, and jazz with production that evokes '70s and '80s R&B. Centered on themes of healing and faith, the songwriting is delivered by Cleo Sol's radiant vocals, supported by Inflo's layered arrangements and contributions from bassist Pino Palladino. The record was received as a sumptuous, dance-oriented entry in their discography, though some commentators found its direct spiritual messaging less groundbreaking than the group's prior work.
