Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reuniting nearly two decades after their original disbandment, Los Angeles underground stalwarts Savage Republic returned with the imposing '1938'. The intense record successfully revitalizes their distinctive blend of tribal percussion, Middle Eastern guitar tunings, and aggressive, industrial-tinged post-punk.
