Album Notes & Community Reviews

Seeking to crack the lucrative American arena-rock market, the NWOBHM veterans enlisted producer Kevin Beamish to deliver a highly polished, commercially accessible sound. While the epic, galloping title track remains a beloved staple of their live sets, the remainder of the album heavily embraces radio-friendly hard rock conventions. This stylistic shift proved highly polarizing among their initial heavy metal fanbase.
