Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking the arrival of lead guitarist Uli Jon Roth, 'Fly to the Rainbow' finds the Scorpions transitioning from their early Krautrock roots into a much tighter, melodic hard rock format. The album beautifully balances heavy, driving dual-guitar attacks with expansive, progressive-leaning compositions and Klaus Meine's soaring vocal acrobatics.
