Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Conny Plank, the debut from the Hanover quintet sounds remarkably different from their later, stadium-conquering heavy metal era. Dominated by a young Michael Schenker's fiery guitar work, the music is deeply entrenched in the dark, jam-oriented space of early krautrock and psychedelic blues. Its brooding atmosphere and sprawling song structures mark a fascinating, formative chapter for the legendary group.
