Concluding his avant-garde trilogy, 'Bish Bosch' is Scott Walker's most sparse, abstract, and challenging work. The album features erratic bursts of noise, silence, and bizarre instrumentation (including machetes and ram's horns) accompanying Walker's operatic baritone. It is a surreal, often terrifying, and darkly humorous exploration of the grotesque that defies all musical convention.
