Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping away from the teen-idol stardom of The Walker Brothers, Scott Walker embraced a staggeringly mature, heavily orchestrated cinematic sound for his solo debut. 'Scott' is incredibly lush and fiercely romantic, featuring profoundly poetic, highly dramatic vocal performances that explore deep melancholic longing and Jacques Brel-inspired heartbreak.
