Album Notes & Community Reviews
Leaning heavily into interpretations of Jacques Brel's deeply cynical chanson alongside his own sweeping originals, Scott Walker's sophomore release is a triumph of orchestral pop. 'Scott 2' is remarkably lush and intensely passionate, matching fiercely melodic, dramatic vocal performances with highly romantic, beautifully bittersweet and poetic storytelling.
