Album Notes & Community Reviews

The final installment in a string of critically panned, contract-fulfilling cover albums released by Scott Walker in the early 1970s. 'We Had It All' finds Walker interpreting country and soft-rock standards with his signature dramatic baritone, albeit uncomfortably paired with conventional, pedestrian arrangements. It represents the artistic nadir of his 'lost years' before his eventual creative renaissance with The Walker Brothers.
