Album Notes & Community Reviews

Their final release for the legendary SST label finds the Washington State pioneers sharpening their heavy, 60s-inflected psychedelic sound right on the precipice of the grunge explosion. Mark Lanegan's signature whiskey-soaked baritone grounds the swirling, distorted guitar leads of Gary Lee Conner. It is a brooding, incredibly potent bridge between the Pacific Northwest's underground past and mainstream future.
