Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning after an eleven-year silence, Green Gartside radically updated Scritti Politti's pristine pop sound by heavily incorporating underground hip-hop elements. 'Anomie & Bonhomie' presents a jarring, highly eclectic fusion, contrasting his delicate sophisti-pop vocals with aggressive guest verses from prominent rappers like Mos Def.
