Album Notes & Community Reviews

Presenting the most polished, hi-fi production of their career, Lou Barlow and Jason Loewenstein traded their foundational lo-fi four-track recordings for a muscular, studio-ready alternative rock sound. While 'The Sebadoh' sacrificed some of the band's initial chaotic charm, it highlighted the formidable, melancholic melodicism that made them defining figures of 90s indie rock.
