Album Notes & Community Reviews
On his eighth studio album, 'Kiss The Beast', S茅bastien Tellier moves between intimate balladry and muscular, maximalist electro-pop, creating a theatrical and ambitious soundscape. The production, handled by a team including Oscar Holter and Sebastian, incorporates lush 80s synth textures, vocoders, and abrupt stylistic shifts, from disco to psychedelic funk. Featuring collaborations with Nile Rodgers, Kid Cudi, and Slayyyter, the album was met with mixed reviews, with critics acknowledging its adventurous spirit and playful excess while also noting its at-times disorienting and haphazard structure.
