Album Notes & Community Reviews

Spearheading the late-seventies Mod revival alongside The Jam, 'Glory Boys' perfectly captures the sharp-suited energy of the youth subculture. The band combined the aggression of punk with tight, Stax-influenced horn arrangements and slick pop-rock melodies. The massive hit 'Time for Action' served as a definitive anthem for a generation eager for pristine style and upbeat, danceable rock.
