Album Notes & Community Reviews

Part of John Zorn's massive 'Masada' series where various artists interpret his klezmer-jazz compositions, Trey Spruance's instrumental collective delivers one of the most dynamic, unhinged entries in the catalog. The band seamlessly shifts from blistering death metal and surf-rock into intricate Middle Eastern rhythms and vintage exotica. It stands as a flawless execution of cross-cultural, highly technical avant-garde rock.
