Album Notes & Community Reviews

Rebecca Taylor continues her reinvention as a bold, outspoken pop force under the Self Esteem moniker. 'A Complicated Woman' blends massive pop soul hooks and gospel-tinged adult contemporary arrangements with a deeply sarcastic, feminist alt-pop edge. The highly conscious and introspective songwriting fearlessly dissects themes of female hedonism, sexuality, and modern sentimental vulnerability.
