Album Notes & Community Reviews

Matt Mahaffey executes a wild, conceptual experiment, recording this entire album utilizing only children's toy instruments. 'Gizmodgery' weaves plastic keyboards, toy guitars, and rudimentary drum machines into dense, highly infectious power pop and indietronica. Notably featuring a hyperactive cover of the Doobie Brothers' 'What a Fool Believes', the record is a dizzying, humorous display of eccentric studio mastery.
