Album Notes & Community Reviews
Representing an outstanding collaboration within the Italian extreme metal scene, 'Selvans / Downfall of Nur' is a split album released via Avantgarde Music. The record brings together the progressive, folklore-infused pagan black metal of Selvans and Downfall of Nur's dark, ambient-influenced atmospheric black metal. The tracks pair sweeping, symphonic keyboard segments and traditional woodwinds with raw guitar tremolos, delivering a spectacular, cinematic tribute to ancient heritage.
