Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Indonesian experimental duo conjures a profoundly terrifying, heavily ritualistic atmosphere using only extreme vocal techniques and custom-built bamboo string instruments. The incredibly tense record fuses intense throat singing with the crushing, distorted weight of doom metal without utilizing any traditional Western rock instrumentation. It stands as a staggeringly intense, highly unique piece of modern Southeast Asian avant-garde music.
