Album Notes & Community Reviews

Collecting tracks recorded during his passionate, highly publicized affair with Brigitte Bardot, Serge Gainsbourg's eighth album is a masterclass in stylish French pop. 'Initials B.B.' is beautifully lush and intensely romantic, utilizing remarkably quirky, poetic lyricism to narrate dramatic love affairs against wonderfully playful, rhythmic baroque-pop orchestrations.
