Album Notes & Community Reviews
Brilliantly subverting the traditional Italian singer-songwriter template, Sergio Caputo heavily infuses his debut with vibrant, 1940s-style big band swing and sophisticated jazz-pop. The remarkably witty, socially observant lyricism provides a highly cynical, deeply entertaining portrait of modern, affluent Roman nightlife.
